Recorded from two sites in the eastern side of the county at Welshpool and Llanfyllin.

Lifestage data
Catkin feeder/bud miner. Eggs probably laid on twig. Larva feed on
female catkins (when catkins in short supply they mine buds).
Pupates in narrow cocoon covered with lichen particles. |
